Veteran Wellness
Purpose, connection and healing through service to community.
Mission Overview
Advocacy & Patient Rights is MEDVETS at the policy table. We testify, we organise, we file comment, and we bring veterans and patients into rooms where decisions about them are usually made without them.
Our priorities are set by our members: access to medicine, alternatives to long-term opioid prescribing, transparent pricing and coverage for cancer patients, and enforcement of the rights patients already have on paper.
We pair legislative work with direct support — helping individual patients appeal denials, understand their options and find a clinician who will actually listen.
Fighting for access. Protecting patients.
