Terms & Conditions

The terms governing your use of this website and our programmes.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About us

MEDVETS is a veteran-led nonprofit ministry operating veteran wellness, youth empowerment, community development and advocacy programmes.

2. Use of this website

You agree to use this site lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to any part of it, scrape it at volume, or submit false information through any form.

3. Enlistment and programme participation

Submitting an enlistment form is an expression of interest. It does not create an employment relationship, a guarantee of placement, or an obligation on either party. Participation in any MEDVETS programme is subject to separate programme agreements, eligibility checks, background checks where the role involves young people or vulnerable adults, and available capacity.

Participants under 18 require parent or guardian consent.

4. Member accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or close accounts used in breach of these terms.

5. Donations

Donations are voluntary and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, non-refundable. Designated gifts are applied to the designated programme; if that programme is fully funded or discontinued, we will apply the gift to the closest comparable use and tell you we have done so. Recurring gifts can be cancelled at any time by contacting us. Tax deductibility depends on your jurisdiction and circumstances — we issue receipts, not tax advice.

6. Advocacy content

Stories, testimony and case details you submit remain yours. We will not publish, quote or share them without your separate written permission. Advocacy positions published by MEDVETS represent the organisation, not necessarily every member.

7. No medical or legal advice

Content on this site — including anything relating to wellness, pain management, medicines or patient rights — is general information only. It is not medical, clinical or legal advice and must not be relied on as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. MEDVETS does not provide clinical treatment.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including the MEDVETS name, logo, text, imagery and design, is owned by MEDVETS or its licensors. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission. You may share and link to our content for non-commercial advocacy and educational purposes with attribution.

9. Third-party links

We link to partner and resource sites we do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, MEDVETS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
